Crews from engine 8 worked a late morning fire with the City of Rensselaer for box 29-2 for a
working fire at Wins market. RFD arrived and found a working structure and went to work. RFD
and CHFD made a quick knockdown on this fire. E8 was assigned to the rear of the structure as well
as the basement. While crews were working a evacuation order was given after part of the floor
fell into the basement. All members were accounted for and went back to work soon after.
Great job RFD and CHFD on this fire.
Car 3 and engine 8 operated at the scene for just under two hours with 9 members.
