Companies have been assisting our brothers and sisters in the Wynantskill Fire Department and
DeFreestville Fire Department (among many others) this evening at the 3-alarm blaze at the
Villa Valenti Restaurant on Route 150. A/C Lehmann and A/C Dick took command of Engine 8
and Truck 11 on the box alarm assignment. Engine 8, under the direction of Captain Forgea,
worked on the defensive attack on the A/D side. Truck 11, under the direction of Captain Sullivan,
worked from "high in the sky" to quell the flames. Engine 7, under the direction of Captain Benson Jr,
handled the cover assignment at the DeFreestville Station (and even took in an alarm at Eastwyck Circle).
East Greenbush FD operated with 16 members on scene, and 9 on the cover assignment.
