06/30/2015 Engine 7 Dedication

On June 30, 2015, The East Greenbush Fire District#3 held a short ceremony to dedicate the new Engine 7 in the memory of Chief Charles Link. Members of Chief Link's family, the truck committee, the Fire district commissioners and the Chief's office participated in the attachment of the dedication plaque.

The truck was then given the traditional wetdown to mark it's entry into service. The Spartan ERV Metrostar 8 man engine tanker will respond from the Hays Rd. Station. (First response was 7/2/2015 for a car fire on I-90, crewed by Chris Linck, Bobby Fish, and Eric Long.)
