Shortly after crews returned from the vehicle fire they were dispatched for a service call on the North end of town. Car 4 arrived and determined that T-11 would be needed for the call. When they arrived, about 500 feet from the station, they were confronted with a helicopter crash. They swung the ladder into position, and quickly made a rescue. A young boy celebrating his birthday had just received the toy helicopter as a gift from a relative. Mission accomplished. With helicopter in hand, he shared his birthday candy. A good deed appreciated. Glad we could help!
