Shortly after 1:30am on
December 29, 2015 the East Greenbush Fire Department was dispatched
for a traffic accident on I-90 which was a tractor trailer vs a car. [...]
SGT Mark Becker of the U.S Army has completed his 1 year deployment overseas.
Mark is being welcomed back with open arms. SGT Mark Becker is eager to return
home to be with his family which includes his wife Lindsey, his son Oliver,
and his step-daughters Haley and Trinity.
Mark also oversees the family business: Becker's Farm. SGT Mark Becker not only serves his country,
works with his father and other family members at Becker's Farm, but he is also an active member
of the East Greenbush Fire Company. Mark serves as a command officer as Lieutenant of
Engine Company #7 at our Hays Road station.
All the members of the East Greenbush Fire Company want to thank Mark for all of his service to our country. WELCOME HOME MARK BECKER!!! Thank You Mark and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
Mark is the son of David Becker and Karen Wallace, both of East Greenbush. He is the brother of Dan Becker and Joe Becker.

the Clinton Heights Fire Department was dispatched for a reported
structure fire in the rear of a business at 117 Columbia Turnpike.[...]

structure fire in the rear of a business on Columbia Turnpike.[...]
On Saturday December 5th,
Truck 11 was scheduled to appear at the Becker's Farm open house but
first had to respond to Hanniford Plaza for a gas leak.[...]

On 10/29/2015 a tree fell knocking a primary line down on other lines and homeowners
in two developments started smelling and hearing an electrical surge[...]
The East Greenbush Fire Company held the 21st Annual
Firefighters Golf Scramble (Best Ball) on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at
Winding Brook Country Club.
We would like to thank all the golfers, sponsors, and workers who participated
in the scramble and made it a great success. Enjoy the photos.
On 9/11/2015 EGFD participated in the two 9/11 Remembrance ceremonies at Columbia High School.
The first was a noon time ceremony in the Lobby. Later in the day, before the football game, the school district is honored the towns first responders.
East Greenbush Fire Company President Marc Iorio announces the recipient of the Barbara J. Lehmann
Memorial Scholarship Program for 2015. Through the Barbara J. Lehmann Memorial Scholarship Program, the East Greenbush Fire Company provides
scholarship grants to qualified applicants seeking to advance their education in their chosen field of study.
The 2015 Scholarship recipient is Emily Dick. Emily, who will be entering Worcester State University in
September, was presented with a Scholarship of $500.00 at the Fire Company’s August meeting. The East Greenbush Fire Company commends
Ms. Dick for her academic achievement and pursuit of higher education.

At 5:48 PM On July 12, 2015 EGFD Engine 7 was dispatched for mutual aid to
a structure fire at Nassau Lake.
