At 4:10 PM East Greenbush Fire Department was
dispatched for a structure fire at Greenbush Station Apartments. Upon engine 7's arrival entry was forced into an apartment and a plume of smoke came rolling out.
Engine 7's crew searched the apartment and quickly extingished the kitchen fire. Meanwhile truck 11 arrived and positioned itself to ladder the building. Engine 8 laid in from the hydrant on Jacob street while engine 9 took
the hydrant on the main entrance road. Once the stove was overhauled and the apartment was ventilated, EGFD
units returned to service.
