06/17/2016 Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman's Assoc. Mardi Gras Parade.

The East Greenbush Fire Company participated in the 127th annual Hudson Valley convention. In addition to business meetings of the Association, the convention featured a festive Mardi Gras themed parade on Friday evening, with 51 units participating. The East Greenbush Fire Company is celebrating their 100th Anniversary in 2016.

. To commemorate this milestone at the convention, over 80 members and their families, with some still in strollers, all dressed in uniform commemorative tee shirts, took to the streets of Lake George accompanied by a unique float that resembled the original fire house with a historic hose cart. The East Greenbush unit was awarded the 1st place trophy for the Best Fire Prevention theme in the parade.
