The following members were recognized during the Life Member's
Day segment of the East Greenbush Fire Company's 100th Anniversary Celebration.

Christopher Lavin: Mr. Lavin joined the East Greenbush
Fire Company on June 21, 1966. He was Vice President of the Fire Company from 1986 until 2005.
He is a Life Member (33 years) of the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association,
Life Member of the Royal Order of the Red Vests. Past Vice President Lavin is an active
50 year member of the East Greenbush Fire Company.

Charles Hellmuth: Mr. Hellmuth joined the
E.F. Hart Hose Fire Company in Rensselaer, N.Y. in 1956. He joined the Sherwood Park
Fire Company in January 20, 1969. He was Assistant Chief of the East Greenbush Fire
District in 1977 and again from 1984 until 1986. He served as Chief of East Greenbush
in 1978 and again in 1987 and 1988. He also served as a Commissioner of the East Greenbush
Fire District. Past Chief Hellmuth is a Life Member (35 years) of the Hudson Valley
Volunteer Fireman's Association and a Life Member of the Royal Order of the Red Vests.
Past Chief Hellmuth has given 60 years of service to the volunteer fire service.

Andrew Carras: Mr. Carras joined the East
Greenbush Fire Company on January 1, 1966. He was President of the East Greenbush Fire
Company in 1969 and served for many years as a Commissioner of the East Greenbush Fire
District. He is the most senior member of the East Greenbush Fire Company at 92 years
of age and is a veteran of World War 2. Past President Carras is a 48 year member of
the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association and a Life Member of the Royal
Order of the Red Vests.
