11/7/2016 Mutial Aid Structure fire in Schodack Valley Fire District.

At approximately 1706 hours on November 7, the Schodack Valley Fire Department was dispatched for a reported structure fire at 1870 Brookview Rd. Upon arrival a second alarm was called and several departments, including East Greenbush Engine 9 and Engine 7, were dispatched.

Arriving units found a garage fire. A quick knockdown protected the nearby house.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
