8/5/2017 Mutual Aid Fire in City of Rensselaer.

At approximately 4:08am, Saturday morning, the East Greenbush Fire Department was transmitted for a 2nd alarm assignment to the city of Rensselaer. Engine 9 handled the cover assignment and shortly after arriving at the Rensselaer North Station they were advised to respond to the scene to assist the Rensselaer Fire Department with the extensive overhaul.

Car 1, Car 2 and Car 4 were also on the alarm. All EGFD units were placed back in service by Rensselaer Fire at 6:00am. The East Greenbush Fire Department operated on the 2nd alarm assignment with our other mutual partners from the Clinton Heights Fire Department, Defreestville Fire Department, and the Wynantskill Fire Department.
