At approximately 9:57 am, Thurday Morning morning, the East Greenbush Fire Department was transmitted for a
2nd alarm assignment and then a 3rd alarm to Glenwood Rd in the Defreestville fire District.
Engine 8 and then Truck 11 responded to the fire in a 142 year old farm house and assisted with overhaul and roof work.
Car 2 and Car 3 were also on the alarm. All EGFD units were placed back in service 12:30 pm.
The East Greenbush Fire Department operated on the alarm assignment with our other mutual partners from the
Clinton Heights , Best Luther, Wynantskill, Mountain View, Averill Park, and West Sand lake Fire Departments.
