On Sunday July 21st at 17:19 PM, the East Greenbush Fire Department
was dispatched to a reported EMS/Hazmat incident on Sunset Rd. in the Town of Schodack. Fire units arrived within minutes of
dispatch and found a person having trouble breathing after mixing 2 cleaning chemicals together. After remediation, smoke ejectors were used to clear out
the fumes. Once all hazards were cleared all units returned to quarters.
