9/18/2018 Engine 118 dedication

A special evening tonight as the East Greenbush Fire District No. 3 dedicated our new apparatus 42-11-8, a 2017 Pierce Impel Engine Tanker, to Past Chief Ted Michel. Ted is a Life Member, Past Chief (1971-1977) and Past Commissioner of Fire District No. 3.

In attendance were Ted's son, Past Assistant Chief and active Life Member, Elwin Michel, Elwin's wife and East Greenbush Fire Company Life Member, Helen Michel and Ted's daughter East Greenbush Fire Company Life Member Linda Mulheren.

We remember and memorialize Ted and thank the Michel family for their dedication and commitment to the East Greenbush Fire Company and the residents of the Town of East Greenbush. It is very fitting that Elwin drove the new apparatus to its first call in August.
