On July 25th 2019 at 4:56 pm East Greenbush Fire Department was dispatched for a confirmed house hit by lightning on Couse place.
Truck 11, Engine 7, Car 3 and Utility 11 arrived and found a strike which hit the chimney. Engine 8 covered a nearby hydrant. The building was checked and with no further damage units
returned to quarters.
