On December 3rd 2019 at 8:31 am East Greenbush Fire Department was dispatched for a confirmed structure fire at the apartments 1628 Columbia Turnpike.

On 11/22/2019 at 5:44 pm East Greenbush Fire District No. 3 responded to a gas leak on Start Ave. EGFD stood
by until National Grid arrived to stop the leak.
On Tuesday evening 10/29/19, at approximately 9:04 PM, the members of the East Greenbush Fire Department were alerted by
the County Dispatch Center for a mutual aid request for a comfirmed structure fire in the Castleton fire district. Engine 7 and Engine 8 responded to
the Fire along with Asst Chief Forgea.
On September 18th at 7:27 AM East Greenbush Fire Dept responded to Michael Rd. near Elliot Rd.
for a car accident rollover that ended with the car right side up.
On Sunday, September 8th, the East Greenbush Fire Company celebrated
the 20th Annual Life Member’s Day. Several Life Members gathered under the Chief Frank Becker Memorial Pavilion
to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie.

8/16/2019 Mutual Aid during storm in Defreestville.
On Friday evening, at approximately 6:40PM, at the height of a severe thunderstorm, the members of the East Greenbush Fire Department were alerted by
the County Dispatch Center for a mutual aid request for an Alarm drop at 405 Jordan Road in the Defreestville fire district.[...]
East Greenbush Fire District No. 3 took advantage of warm summer weather and recent rains
to practice our skills drafting from streams and deploying the ladder truck.
7/16/2019 Presentation of Service awards to members of the East Greenbush Fire Company.
At the company meeting tonight, President Mike Lancing
presented five company members with service awards after their retirement from their careers in public service.
Chris Lavin was recognized for 47 years of service with the East Greenbush Police Department,
Tom Kennedy was recognized for 35 years of service with the East Greenbush Town Water Department,
Eric Cullum was recognized for 31 years of service with the New York State Police,
and George Forgea was recognized for 28 years of service with the East Greenbush Town Highway Department. Not pictured is Tom Gullo who was
recognized for 39 years of service with the Amtrak locomotive repair facility in Rensselaer NY.
