Just After 11:30 am The Rensselaer County Dispatch Center activated the
Defreestville Fire Department, Wyanatskill Fire Department and North Greenbush Ambulance for a
Reported Structure Fire at 434 North Greenbush Rd.
Upon arrival in the smokey neighborhood, Defreestville Car 2 declared a signal 30 and a
2nd alarm was dispatched which brought Rensselaer, Clinton Heights, East Greenbush, and Best Luther to the scene.
The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes and
overhaul operations began. The cause of this fire is unknown at this time,
