12/26/2020 Burn Victim Medevac at Genet School.

On late afternoon of December 26th the East Greenbush Fire Dept and East Greenbush Police Dept responded to Genet School
to set up a landing zone for LifeFlight 71. They were in route to pick up a burn victim for transport to the burn center at Westchester Medical Center.

Cars 1, 2, 3, and 4, along with Rescue 11, Engine 8, and Utility 11 responded to the Genet Elementary School to assist with the landing zone and patient transfer.

While the paramedic crew from LifeNet was working on their patient transfer, the LifeNet pilot took some time to hold a brief, ad hoc refresher
for our members with regards to the emergency shutdown procedures for the helicopter. Our members wish to thank the pilot for his time and guidance today.

A special thank you to the C-Line Patrol Division and the C-Line Communications Division (both from the East Greenbush Police Department)
for their assistance at the scene and in coordinating the radio traffic with LifeNet.
