Tuesday Morning, 3/9/2021 at 10:13 am, the East Greenbush Fire Dept was dispatched for a brush fire on Bayberry Ct.
in the Schodack Protection District and Schodack Valley Fire Dept was dispatched for a brush fire on Schuurman Rd (same fire).
The fire had started on Bayberry and was blown by the wind toward Schuurman Rd. All the EGFD apparatus responded along with
Schodack Valley's 32-2 and 32-6. ATV's from Best Luther and East Schodack also responded and helped put out the fire.
The fire consumed about 7 acres but did not damage any adjoining homes.
