3/23/2022 Haz-Mat incident mutual Aid in Clinton Heights District.
At 4:18 PM on March 23, 2022,Clinton Heights Fire Department and Sand Lake Ambulance
were dispatched to 11 University Place for a person exposed to Nitric Acid. Upon arrival East Greenbush Police reported an active
Hazardous Materials incident on the third floor. The CHFD's assistant arrived, set up for HazMat incident and requested one engine
from East Greenbush Fire District.
East Greenbush responded with 1 engine and Fire Police, Additional requests brought Troy FD with the county HazMat team and
the County Decon team to the scene. With all these groups working together the situation was rendered safe and Units started returning to quarter around 6:30 pm.
