On Thursday March 14th Rensselaer County was hit by a large Nor'easter snow storm.
Heavy wet snow caused trees to bow down to the ground and wires were brought down as a result.
East Greenbush Fire District #3 responded to a dozen calls for wires down, and as a precaution crews stood by in.
the stations from 6:30am until 11:30am when the storm petered out.
