4/13/2023 Columbia Turnpike. Mutual aid trailer fire Clinton Heights Fire District.
Around 3:30 PM on 4/13/2023 a large fire involving 3 trailers was reported in the Clinton Heights Fire District
on Columbia Turnpike. Responding CHFD units confirmed a large fire and immediately called for a 2nd alarm.
Rensselaer Fire Department, East Greenbush Fire District #3, Best Luther, Deefreestville , Wyantskill, Mountainview,
North Bethlehem and City of Troy Haz-Mat responded and helped Clinton Heights Fire Department control the fire by late afternoon. Due to the involvement of propane tanks and the fatality the
overhaul and investigation was extensive.
