At 1:09 PM on 5/23/2023 a large smoky fire was reported in East Greenbush on Park Ave.
The first arriving unit called a signal 30 and a 2nd alarm was transmitted for a hydrant box at 13:15.
Over 14 companies from southern Rensselaer County responded and helped
control the fire by late afternoon. The overhaul and investigation was extensive and complete by mid evening.
