EGFD Incidents and Events in January 2026

1/16/2026 12:30 am EGFD was dispatched to 1500 block of Columbia Turnpike for a Chimney Fire. Once the chimney flue was cleaned and the building was ventilated all units returned to service.
1-16-2026 EGFD responded to a mutual aid structure fire at the Pine Tree apartments in Nassau.
EGFD Annual Installation banquet was held on January 17, 2026.
