EGFD Incidents and Events in February 2026

2/3/2026 12:58 pm EGFD was dispatched to 2500 Pond View for an Odor of Gas. Crews from T-11, 117, 119, R-11 and U-11 responded and checked the building. All units returned to service by 1:30 pm when meters could not find any natural gas.
2/8/2026, 4:30 am Schodack Valley and their mutual aid partners were dispatched for a structure fire on Maple Hill Rd. Arriving units immediately transmitted a second alarm and at 4:40 am East Greenbush, was dispatched as part of the second alarm. Extreme cold made the fire challenging. T-11 was later dispatched to help with the investigation.
