EGFD Incidents and Events in March 2026

On March 22, 2026 the East Greenbush Fire Company held the annual Easter Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
3/9/2026 12:01 pm EGFD was dispatched to 3 Grand View Dr. for a structure Fire. Crews from Truck-11, Engine 9, Rescue-11, and First Response-11 responded and checked the building. A search discovered an oven fire, which was extinguished and the apartment was ventilated. All units returned to service.
3/2/2026 EGFD was dispatched to 3 Springhurst Dr. for an Odor of Gas. Crews from T-11, 117, R-11 and FR-11 responded and checked the building. All units returned to service when the scene was turned over to National Grid.
