At approximately 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18th, the East Greenbush Fire District #3 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Troy Road and Commons Drive.

Crews arrived to find a single vehicle accident with the vehicle resting on a public utility structure. Upon arrival, crews immediately began sizing up the scene and developing a plan for victim removal.

Working closely with EMS personnel, crews stabilized the vehicle and completed a modified third door removal due to an airbag device. Both patients were quickly extricated and turned over to EMS for transport to a local trauma center.

The condition of the patients is not known at the time of this posting.
